Being happy is the best feelings in the world. Thus, others will do anything for them to feel happy and sometimes, they do weird things. Whenever I hear the song of Sheryl Crow “If It Makes You Happy,” I always remember the things that I’ve done to be happy. I’m sure that no one wants to be sad right? Unless you’re anti-happiness. There’s one more thing that I remember about this song; it’s the 90’s y’all! When everything is cool.

“The Artist”

Sheryl Suzanne Crow” is one of the American country singers with a wide variety of genre. This woman’s music is influenced by pop, rock, country, and blues. Wow! She’s amazing. Anyway, Crow’s childhood was not that tough; her parents were professionals and musically inclined, maybe that’s where she got her talent. Hands down to her since she is really an amazing artist.

Sheryl Crow, worked as a teacher in an elementary school in Missouri after she graduated in college. Further, this still gave her a chance to do what she wants, and that is singing. Thus, she sings in a band during weekends, as they say, an artist will always ban artist. Until luck came to her and she was introduced to the record producer Jay Oliver. Crow first started singing jingles for big companies and a backup singer for big artists. Then, her big break came when she joined the so-called “Tuesday Night Club.”

“Being Happy”

“If It Makes You Happy” was the hit single of Sheryl Crow from her Album “Eponymous” that was released in 1996. Indeed, the song had a massive impact because it peaked at no. 10 on Billboard Hot 100. Also, “If It Makes You Happy” also won Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 1997. Truly, the song is irresistible because it also invaded UK Singles Chart and Canada. There was also a remake of the song in 2009 when Sheryl Crow had a duet with Miley Cyrus.

There were even two music videos that were made for the song. The first music video was purely black and white, and it showed parts of a daily routine. Further, the other music video is more colorful and playful; Crow was stocked in a glass room as an endangered species.

To date, her music is still alive, and some of them is still being played on the radio, plus she is still active in the music industry. It seems like no one can stop this woman on what she wants to do.
