Shania Twain Says “We Got Something They Don’t”

“We Got Something They Don’t” has the eighties vibe in it, talking about staying strong and sticking to loving someone despite it all.

It’s only 11 days until her highly- anticipated album release so, to build more excitement Shania shares the lyric video of “We Got Something They Don’t” from her new album Now.

About the Song

The song opens with a dramatic synth beat, it has optimistic lyrics saying Here’s to hanging tough/ When no one else believed in us/ Cheers to staying strong/ They gave up but we carried on. It has a bold, brassy sound that reminds us of the eighties pop radio.

Meanwhile, Shania Twain also announces 2018 Now Tour

Twain’s ultimate goal for the record, her first full-length studio album since 2002’s Up! and her subsequent divorce from husband, songwriting partner and producer Mutt Lange, was to harness the myriad emotions she’s experienced in that time and to decide what she wanted the album to be.

The downcast tune appears on Twain’s forthcoming album ‘Now,’ out September 29th

Now will be released September 29th.

Here are Twain’s Now Tour dates:

Twain also shared plans for the extensive Now Tour, which will kick off on May 3rd, 2018 in Tacoma, Washington and run through early August, wrapping up in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Arena. The tour will mark Twain’s first since 2015’s Rock This Country Tour, which, at the time, Twain announced would be her final run out on the road.
