George Strait teased on his twitter account before the month of July started that his Las Vegas show’s concept of “Two Nights of Numbers Ones” would have its last staging on T-Mobile Arena on July 28th and July 29th.

Country Music Hall of Famer, George Strait or as we all like to call him King George have proven time and again that he is the game changer in the country industry and defining what real country music is. He inspired a lot of budding country artists that are trying to break in the industry and probably inspire every one of us as we attach countless memories to every George Strait song.
On his current sin city show “Two Nights of Number Ones,” the ‘troubadour’ performs his 60 country hits which were all number ones during the pinnacle of his career. His 2017 show started last April 7-8 and all of which were reported sold out and jam-packed by Billboard.
Las Vegas Review-Journal noted the T-Mobile spectacle about George Strait receiving “10 standing ovations every night” yet it seems King George decided that the said concept should be put to rest. That only means no more live performances of 60 top hits after July 28th and July 29th. On one of his interviews, he teased what’s coming on his final leg of T-Mobile shows:[advert id=”193669″]
“After that, I’m going to change things up for the last four of the year, Not sure what’s in store, but I’m thinking about it.”

Last Cowboy Tour, George Strait updates
Like every icon that supersedes stardom into being a true blue legend, George Strait has decided last 2014 on his “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” that it was time to take off the cowboy hat. As expected, a lot of King George’s fans were sad about this decision but Strait has always been very generous to his clamoring fans by giving us performances and shows after deciding to stop the touring.
Apart from his Las Vegas sold out concerts, George Strait is keeping himself busy investing on a Tequila company called Codigo 1530 and once in a while showing up to awards night to give us his signature performances.
With these recent news about the changes on his ‘Strait to Vegas’ concert, are we expecting that the King of Country is approaching a total retirement or perhaps (cross-fingers) developing a new album? We can only bag on the headline of his Las Vegas show:
“I’m not retiring, just not going on tour anymore.”
