While Christmas is right around the corner, red, blue, green, and white are the colors very much visible. Decorations swarm the walls and Christmas trees beautifully stand signifying the season of giving and sharing. Christmas is the time of the year when everyone feels so excited as well as alive and joyful. As such, like all other Christians, this season marks hope for everyone. In fact, it is one of the most important holidays as it is the birth of the Son of God and our Savior – Jesus Christ.
Moreover, during this time, Christmas carols and songs start playing everywhere. Artists begin rendering popular tunes for the best time of the year. In particular, country music artists do great performances for such a divine holiday.
The Country Music Association (CMA) holds its annual Country Christmas telecast. This event highlights country artists and performers in celebration of the Yuletide Season.
Reba Graces Country Christmas with Christmas Medley
Last year, Reba McEntire did not only host the event (and she is back for 2018’s) but also had a handful of performances and collaborations with fellow artists. This included her performances with Kelsea Ballerini and Little Big Town.
As the highlight of her performance, Reba went on to render a medley of three classic Christmas song. All the songs that she sang were a part of her latest Christmas album, My Kind of Christmas.
In her heavenly performance, the country legend sang the all-time favorites: “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
With this number, Reba again proved that she is not only a great country and gospel artist but she is also an incredible Christmas singer.
Her vocals were as clear as the message of her songs and what a wonderful way to grace the event with such a production full of meaning and message.
Spread the holiday vibe as you check out Reba singing a superb Christmas medley:
