Indeed, she’s the princess worth remembering.

Princess Diana was the most loved and the most respected princess in the entire world now and then. From the simplicity of her whole being to her pure heart, she will always be treasured, valued, and favored no matter what.

Candle In The Wind and Princess Diana…

Elton John and Bernie Taupin are the people behind the music and lyrics of “Candle In The Wind.” The song was especially rearranged and modified only for the Princess of Wales as a tribute song on her death on August 31, 1997. Princess Diana was 36 back then.

Moreover, “Candle In The Wind,” was the first song that came into John Elton’s mind when he was approached to sing a tribute song for Princess Diana’s Funeral. But, he would like to make it unique and special thus, he modified the words and lyrics. Then, he contacted Bernie Taupin to make some re-arrangements. Fascinatingly, Elton John would like to make the song sound country. With this, it came out so suitable for Princess Diana.

Furthermore, the song was written in honor of Marilyn Monroe in 1973. But, the version for Princess Diana was a massive success in many countries. In fact, it topped the charts inside and outside of the country music scene. The song was listed as the 2nd best-selling single of all time.
