Every artist has their distinct and somewhat peculiar personality and behavior. To some extent, it’s part of their lives that they acquired as they grow. Take the late legendary superstar Elvis Presley as an example. His life and journey have been so captivating to his fans and supporters. But people are still learning who really he was in and out of the glare of publicity. His particular personality of his will surely shock you.

The “Germaphobe” Elvis Presley…

Thanks to his former wife, Priscilla Presley, who happily shared, indeed, revealed a very unique yet hilarious oddity about Elvis Presley. This was during her recent interview at WGN 9 Morning News. Surprisingly, it turned out, “The King” was essentially a “germaphobe”.

A germaphobe is a person with an extreme fear of germs and an obsession with cleanliness.

Priscilla told the anchors about Presley would always drink his coffee close to the handle and not anywhere else. This is because everywhere else other people would drink. She also added that kind of Presley’s manner was done religiously. Furthermore, Presley was less of a germaphobe in his adult years than he was in his youth.

She recalled that when Presley was a child, Presley’s mother would give him his own spoon, fork, and knife to bring. This is every time he would go and visit his relatives’ homes. Presley didn’t like the idea because he wasn’t sure if it was clean or not.

Presley’s former wife, Priscilla, pretty sure knew a lot about Elvis Presley. This is for the reason that both were very young when they first met. They actually met at the age of 14. In addition, at this time and stage of their lives wherein they courted each other. At the age of 21, she married Presley. The two were married from 1967 to 1973 but remained friends after their divorce.

There were so many good words Priscilla voiced out about “The King”. She said:

“He was an amazing human being, was generous, a caring person. He was loyal. I don’t know one person who does not like Elvis Presley — not one person”.

Truly, Elvis Presley was the superstar that everybody loved. Even up to this day, he is still being embraced and remembered. His peculiar behavior and personality make him more adorable.
