How to be Saved?

We all want to be saved. We all want to enter the Kingdom of God and enjoy everlasting happiness. But, what do we have to do then? Here are some of the things we have to do to be saved according to the Bible. We have to accept and believe that Jesus is sent by God to lay down his life for us to be saved.

“And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” -1 John 5:11-13

Moreover, we have to ask God for forgiveness and repent from our sins.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” -1 John 1:9

The Song’s Content

The song “A Wonderful Time Up There” first talks about the beauty of heaven. In the song, the narrator tells us how wonderful it would be to be in heaven as we will only be praising good and doing good things. However, as the song goes on, the narrator warns us to be careful while we are living here on earth. We have to do what the Bible tells us to do to be saved. We have to do all of this before judgment day arrives which is mentioned in the Bible too.

If you are aware of the Book of Revelations, then we have to find a way to do good right now and accept Jesus before His coming.
