There are a lot of new country artists these days; they are gradually booming and embracing the limelight of country music. Yes, they create music that most generation nowadays appreciates. Also, they’re talented, and they sound good. Nevertheless, there a few who genuinely grip the old country and old soul country music. A suitable embodiment of being an old soul is Mo Pitney. It can be realized through his songs such as “Country,” “Clean Up On Aisle Five,” “Love Her Like I Lost Her,” and “Don’t You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me.”

Furthermore, Mo Pitney brings back the legacy of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and George Jones as well as the real country soul of George Strait, Allan Jackson, Randy Travis, and other credible country artists.

Pitney is a 24-year-old native of Cherry Valley, Illinois. His name is “Morgan Daniel Pitney” and was born on March 24, 1993. Pitney began playing drums at the age of 6 and guitar at 12. He learned how to play banjo, too. He formerly played with his brother and a friend in a band plainly of Bluegrass Country songs.

When he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, he signed a contract to Curb Records. Currently, he’s working with the producer Tony Brown.

In December 2014, Pitney released his very first anthem “Country.” The song received positive feedback from country music enthusiasts. It is also Pitney’s facade to the heart of the listeners. Besides, Pitney performed at Grand Ole Opry where he received a standing ovation. On the stage, he showcased his talent and love for country music. It has opened doors to more followers and listeners.

He is now a rising star with songs that purely define faith, family, and patriotism. Pitney is a promising, young, and a lucid narrator who plays country music.
