The debut album of Mo Pitney entitled “Behind This Guitar” peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It reached the said position on October 29, 2016. Who would have thought that a new artist like him would reach that achievement? Perhaps, it is because of his old soul country style.

The rising star Mo Pitney is one of the new country artists to embrace the roots of country music. His style depicts the legends like George Jones and Merle Haggard. Indeed, he is the one of a kind.

On October 7, 2016, “Behind This Guitar” was released. It is Mo Pitney’s debut album. The album has twelve tracks. Mo Pitney debuted at the Grand Ole Opry. The audience was astounded by his performance and his voice, too. Little did the people know that a big sound is coming from young and small physique bodied Mo Pitney. After his performance, he received a standing ovation.

Morgan Daniel Pitney is a 24-year-old native of Cherry Valley, Illinois and was born on March 24, 1993. He began playing drums at the age of six and guitar at twelve. Pitney learned how to play banjo, too. He formerly played with his brother and a friend in a band plainly of Bluegrass Country songs.
