It’s always nice to imagine that there are TV shows that keep us occupied as we patiently anticipate the holidays! Once again, CBS is up and ready for the challenge by inviting artists like Miranda Lambert to perform one of her greatest hits that many of us love, “Bluebird.”

But as the saying goes, ‘COVID-19 does not take its time off even in the holidays. It will be hard for artists to get a backing band as they perform at home. With that fact in place, get ready to experience “Bluebird” by Miranda Lambert in a whole low-key and stripped-down level as she performs in her Tennessee home.

Quest for a Forever Home

From her appearance in CBS’s 22nd Annual “A Home For The Holidays” special, the country superstar’s heartfelt acoustic performance of “Bluebird” is indeed a one-of-a-kind present filled with emotions and a whole lot of new perspective for her fans to listen to. But aside from that, Lambert is only one of the several artists who performed in this years’ edition of the special.

Josh Groban, Meghan Trainor, Leslie Odom, Jr., and Andrea Bocelli, together with host Gayle King delivered a single thought for this season. They told uplifting stories of adoption cases of children from one of the foster homes the company supports and to spread awareness regarding this social issue. The viewers also witnessed virtual adoption cases where three families take in children under their care on air.

Lambert has been supporting the special and the cause for a long time now. During the 2016 edition of “A Home For The Holidays,” she performed “The House That Built Me” which gathered a lot of attention from the viewers.

The event inspired families to adopt thousands of children ever since its launch more than 20 decades ago. Considering that there are currently 400,000 American children under foster care in today’s’ day and age, they wouldn’t rest until the children can all have a family they can call ‘forever home’ during the holidays.

As for Lambert’s “Bluebird,” it’s sure to leave a mark on the potential parents’ hearts. It was her seventh chart-topping single, achieved through the help of songwriters Natalie Hemby and Luke Dick on July 2020. She expressed that people must be straightforward with their thoughts and feelings. In this case, to take the challenge to become a home for a foster American child.
