The “Queen Of Country” Reba McEntire is one of the most successful and bestselling country artists of all time. Also, she has been hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards over the past years. This year marks Reba’s 51st year hosting the ACM. But even if she’s not hosting, she’s no stranger to the show, in fact, she has won a total of 16 ACM awards.
Since Reba is back hosting the Academy of Country Music Awards this year, let’s look back her best looks through the years.
ACM 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1988…
Back in 1985, Reba won as “Top Female Vocalist” for the second time. Besides, she won the award seven times. This year, for the 16th time, she is once again nominated for that particular category.
Moreover, Reba went full 80s at ACM Awards in 1986 with beading, shoulder pads, and big hair. It was also the very first year she hosted the show with Mac Davis and John Schneider.
In 1987, Reba won the “Top Country Video.” She wore a black with a touch of silver dress. Sure thing, Reba can do a little rock star thang.
The 1988 ACM awards, she wore a fringed leather jacket accessorized with a big gold belt buckle.
ACM 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1995…
At the 26th ACM, Reba won “Top Female Vocalist” and “Video of the Year” for “Is There Life Out There.” She was dazzling with her gold top paired with a shimmering gray dress. And her hair, so gorgeous.
Furthermore, Reba went to ACM 1992 with her Elvis Presley inspired attire. She won “Top Female Vocalist” back then.
In 1994, Reba decided to keep it simple as she only wore a black see-through dress. That year, she won “Top Female Vocalist” and “Entertainer of the Year.”
At 31st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in 1995, Reba took to the stage to perform.
ACM 1998, 1999, and 2000…
These years, Reba loved wearing a simple long dress. And her hair, she cut it a bit shorter. As you can see, she wore a simple black dress in 1998, cream dress in 1999, and a sparkly purple dress in 2000.
Reba wore a black sequined dress on the red carpet. After the red carpet, she wore a blue gown, and she dazzled with her blue sequined dress while accepting her “Home Depot Humanitarian Award.”
In 2003, Reba was sizzling with the plunging gold sequined gown designed by Carmen Marc Valvo. While hosting the show, she wore purple gown sticking to her halter dress theme.
Comfortable but straightforward was Reba’s theme when she performed “Somebody” in ACM 2004. But she transformed into a goddess, afterward, with her plunging black dress matched with a diamond necklace.
First, she wore a green sleeveless and jeans then purple halter top and jeans, and sequined top and leather pants.
ACM 2006 and 2007…
In 2006, Reba wore a hugging gown for a dress with a big A-line skirt. In 2007 she wore a pant-and-jacket combo just like her theme in 2006.
ACM 2008, 2009, 2010…
Black is indeed elegant, Reba proved when she wore the long black gown in 2008. Reba wore a bright orange dress with a beaded bodice in 2009 and a sea-blue gown in 2010.
At the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Reba hosted along with Blake Shelton wearing her rainbow-like dress. She then changed to midnight blue gown and neutral-hued gown that was full of sparkle.
Reba was so gorgeous at ACM in 2012. She wore a radiant in red, a look she completed with Hearts on Fire diamonds and low necklines and severe sparkle.
ACM 2013 and 2015…
Reba wore a simple plunging long black dress in 2013. On the other hand, she wore a sequined black dress in 2015.
At the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards, Reba performed with Christian singer Lauren Daigle.
And this ACM 2018…
Indeed, Reba is one of a kind country artist. Her taste in dresses fits her bubbly personality. And this year, I’m pretty sure, she will dazzle the stage with her looks and dresses as she hosts the Academy of Country music Awards.
