Recently, a little boy yodeling at Walmart started making rounds. Mason Ramsey has gone viral after a video of him singing Hank Williams Sr.s’ “Lovesick Blues.” This little country boy has been singing at his local Walmart “all the time.” Sure thing he has it, Ramsey’s got what it takes to be the next country star.

The now-famous Ramsey singing at his local Walmart has racked up more than 20 million views on the Twitter video. The original tweet amassed over 50,000 retweets, 175,000 likes and a tremendous 17.8 million views.

Bit ‘Bout Mason Ramsey…

Mason Ramsey is a 10-year-old from Golconda, Illinois. Besides, this young talented boy singing “Lovesick Blues” on March 24 when someone from recorded his performance and shared it online.

Before the vial video of Ramsey, he first got a little taste of internet fame in January 2017 with the help of another video that spread online. In this video, he is sitting in a Walmart shopping cart yodeling “Hey Good Lookin” by Hank Williams Sr.

Furthermore, a local radio station invited him to perform the same song. That time, he showcased his skills with a guitar.

His grandfather has influenced Mason Ramsey. He often hears his granddad playing Hank William Sr.’s in their garage.

In January 2015, Mason Ramsey won the 27th Annual Kentucky Opry Talent Search. He performed a Hank William Sr.’s song entitled “Your Cheatin’ Heart.”

Grand Ole Opry…

Due to his popularity, the little country boy was invited to Ellen DeGeneres show. He appeared on the show on April 10. They had a great conversation as Mason Ramsey tells his dreams to Ellen like going to college. His biggest goal is to perform at Grand Ole Opry and become a country music star just like his idol, Hank Williams Sr.

His dreams have been granted. He will be performing at Grand Ole Opry this Saturday. Also, his local Walmart gave a scholarship for his college.

Indeed, another star is born. Brace yourselves for this young boy will surely hit the country music industry.
