Country star Lauren Alaina is celebrating her 25th birthday today, send her good vibes and much love and get to know her a little better.

Lauren Alaina’s Personal Life

Lauren Alaina was born on November 8, 1994, at Rossville, Georgia. Her father worked as a technician in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was already showing off her love for singing as early as 3 years old. By age eight she entered a talent competition of the Southern Star Pageants and came up on top.

The next year she was selected to perform on the Kids talent stage at Chattanooga’s Riverbend Festival. She performed on that stage annually until age twelve, when she won the competition that allowed her to perform at the festival’s big stage.

Prior to Idol, Alaina worked at CiCi’s Pizza. She attended Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she was a cheerleader.

Lauren Alaina’s American Idol Run

The country star auditioned for the tenth season of the singing competition American Idol during their stop at Tennessee. She was a favorite from the start getting praises from all the judges and having an easy yes from them.

She was able to sing with her idol, Carrie Underwood, during the finals of the said competition, where they performed “Before He Cheats.” She was declared a runner up however her career was only beginning to rise from here.

After American Idol, she was able to get a contract with Interscope Records and released her first single “Like My Mother Does” through them.

This single peaked at number thirty-six on the Hot Country Songs charts. It wasn’t the strongest debut but it was more than enough to help rise higher.

In October 2011 Lauren released her debut album titled “Wildflower” which made it to the number two spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.  This album became the best-selling digital album by a debut country female. The lead single “Georgia Peaches” reached twenty-eight on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

From here her career only started rising faster and faster giving us other hits like “Barefoot and Buckwild”, “Doin’ Fine”, and “Pretty” to name a few. She also gives us awesome performances in Dancing With The Stars.
