Would the American Idol reboot include country artist, Keith Urban?
American Idol, Success
Undeniably, American Idol has been one of the most successful talent-searches in the history of American television which catapulted some of the biggest stars that marked the music industry like country stars Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, who are still continuing to strive despite being hailed as winners a long time ago and after the show ended.

The renowned singing competition is also famous for having a series of judges each season that either make or break the success of the season when it comes to the number of viewers. Some of its notable judges like Simon Cowell have already been to a different direction of judging performances on other synonymous tilts like “The X Factor” and “The Got Talent” franchises while others were short-lived such as Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj who brought the daily cat-fight each season.
Nevertheless, it’s still one of the most unparalleled TV shows that was ever broadcast that’s why it found a new home in ABC after the said contest aired it’s last episode on its mother station, FOX on the 7th of 2016.
Fans have been throwing questions whether or not the most loved country singer and judge Keith Urban would be returning on the panel as a judge for the American Idol reboot.[advert id=”193533″]
On his recent CMT interview with Urban after winning not only one but four awards pinning his name back on top of country music industry, the top caliber country singer revealed:
“There’s a lot of moving parts,” Urban says. “That’s a good political answer, isn’t it? But it’s also quite true of the state of it right now. There’s a lot of moving parts in everybody’s camps. We’ll see what happens.”
It would be interesting to see if Keith Urban would team up with the show’s previous winner such as Carrie Underwood who were caught up with the former country singer on their hit duet “The Fighter.”
With its anchor judge, Katy Perry already been announced as the sure judge, that leaves us two seats for the panel if ABC is still following the three-judge format. Meanwhile, update on Ryan Seacrest retaining his hosting stint on the reboot has not yet been confirmed but an offer is on the table.
