Kane Brown Releases a New Song About Summer’s Warm Weather

Just over a week ago, Kane Brown released one of his most emotional videos of all time titled “Homesick.” It is an ode to the military men and women who courageously serve and protect our country. In the music video, Brown reunites the families of these unsung heroes, in which everyone was in tears. As poignant as it is, the video was emotionally appealing to the audience as it will tug you at the heartstring, for sure.

Earlier this week, Kane Brown has just released one of the hottest summer anthems he has ever recorded. Just as when summer is about to end and fall is fast approaching, this song will definitely change the vibe you have for summer. “Short Skirt Weather” exudes a fun, happy vibe and is a little more up-tempo. Listening to the song will just give you an even more longing for the season and will make you envy its warm weather.

While his emotional song, “Homesick,” hits you right in the heart, “Short Skirt Weather” totally gives a feeling that will make you feel young at heart.

Song’s Inspiration

In a live performance of the song, Brown revealed to his fans about his new song:

“I’m so nervous about the second album, but I’m really excited about this next song. This is called ‘Short Skirt Weather.’ I feel like this is an ‘I Like It I Love It Part Two.'”

Furthermore, Brown referenced Tim McGraw’s 1995 hit that brings back summer memories. It is about going to the fair and spending time in the warm weather with a girl who makes your heart beats fast. In fact, Brown earlier covered McGraw’s song in 2017. Definitely, McGraw would sure be proud of this young and budding superstar who’s sticking to the twangy vocals the song is known for.
