Just Say It One More Time, Just “Say It Again” By Don Williams

Just Say It One More Time, Just “Say It Again” By Don Williams 1

Don Williams once again captured our hearts with his song “Say It Again”. “I love You” is the three words we always want to hear every time. Indeed, it is also the words we want to say it “one more time” or even over and over again.

The Song…

“Say It Again” is a song written by Bob McDill. It was released in April 1976 as the second single of Don Williams on his album “Harmony”. Interestingly, the song was Williams’ fifth number one on the country charts. The song actually maintained its top 1 record for the entire week and twelve weeks on the country chart. It is one of Williams’ most successful hits of all time.

Furthermore, the anthem was made so romantic. The simple lyrics intertwined passionately with the soft-toned voice of Williams. Simply the song is a mixture of sincere words and a jivey harmony. It came out of a mood changing the song. I bet once you listen to this song, it will make your day perfect.

The Lyrics…

Oh, all I needed
Was one look
One magic moment
Was all it took.
From that moment
I love you so
Now that I found you
I’m never gonna let you go.

C’mon say it
Say it again
It’s sounds so good
Say it one more time
And then.
Oh, if you mean it
Say it again
The hard part’s over
And the lovin’ part begins.

Oh, hold me closer
Make me warm
I feel wanted
Here in your arms
I’ve been lonely
For too long
I’ve waited a lot time
For you to come along.

Don Williams may be gone but he will forever stay in our hearts. We may no longer see him in concerts and shows but he will always be pictured within us. And through his songs, we will still remember him.
