The Judds, Accolades
“I’m so proud that our music has stood the test of time. It makes my heart smile when I turn on Country Radio and I can sing along with our hits.” Naomi adds as the “Love is Alive” songstress further discussed how The Judds music withstood the test of time as a lot of country talents break in the industry.
It can be remembered that late last year, Naomi Judd had a revelation about her mental health and how she keeps on battling the said depression every day of her life. This would be a very welcome but still refreshing flashback or a trip down memory lane for the die-hard The Judds fandom.
On their accolades, The Judds could brag being a five-time Grammy award winner, seven Academy of Country music awards, nine CMA Awards including Single of the Year in 1985 “Why Not Me,” Billboard Country Single 14-times chart-topper and studio albums that know Gold or Platinum status.
As Naomi Judd would put it to describe the immortality of The Judds and the duo’s influence:
“There are three things that will live on if they drop the atomic bomb: Cher, roaches and Judd music.”
