The Judds: Dream Chasers

The story of country’s popular Grammy-winning mother-and-daughter duo, The Judds, has brought inspiration to people all around the globe. Their passion and dedication to country music have lifted them from rags-to-riches. And now, Country Music Hall of Fame brings their story to life with their new exhibit titled, The Judds: Dream Chasers. The duo’s chronicle is due to open on August 10 until July 14, 2019.

The display will feature artifacts that follow the path starting from Naomi’s childhood to her single motherhood as she finds fate in Kentucky to Los Angeles to Music City. The highlight will focus on their journey as she and Wynonna worked against all odds to break into the country music industry. With their soaring vocal tandem and genuine goal to share their talent, they’ve become one of the country’s much-loved artists.

The exhibit will not be a complete Judds tribute without the silk and rhinestones. Aside from pictures, certificates, and plaque of awards and recognition, there will be a showcase of several outfits that have become essential in the duo’s country ride. These include Naomi’s gown during their Las Vegas residency in 2015, and Wynonna’s velvet jacket embellished with bugle beading and sequins that she wore during their farewell concert in the early 90’s.

For the record…

Naomi and Wynonna Judd dominated the country charts in between the 80’s and 90’s. They have sold over 20 million album copies and registered 20 top 10 hits. Adding to their achievements are five Grammy awards, nine CMA Awards, and seven ACM awards. All these precious panels will be visible in the most awaited exhibit.
