Moreover, “I Serve a Savior” will also include a special song written by his wife Jennifer and eldest son Hampton called “The River (of happiness).” It would be inspiring since his family members penned it. On the other hand, Josh Turner’s three other boys will be featured on the album as well along with their mother and eldest brother. Besides the Turner Family, other artists will be featured, too. They are Sonya Isaacs and Bobby Osborne.
Above all, the album will include his two first recorded gospel hymns “Me and God” and "Long Black Train." Way back, “Long Black Train” was the reason for Josh Turner’s reputation when he performed the song live at the Grand Ole Opry. After his performance, he was recognized, and opportunities started to rain.
The album will be released on October 26 this year. Nevertheless, a live video of Josh Turner singing “I Serve a Savior” has already been out, and it’s available on YouTube. Here’s Josh Turner singing the hymn.
