Simple things that bring us closer to God are prayers and music. Through prayers, we can throw all our worries and problems to God. Meanwhile, music can lead us to realize how wonderful life and how grateful our existence is. With this, if we listen to music and pray at the same time, we feel inner peace. We feel that we are loved and God is there beside us no matter what. Therefore, listen to Josh Groban’s “You Are Loved (Don’t Give Up).” The song is a simple reminder that God is the only one we can depend on especially on our downfalls.
The song is indirectly a Christian Gospel song. However, the words and lyrics say it all. It depicts about hope and when talking about hope, we think of God. He gives us hope every time we are feeling anxious and depressed. Above all, it makes us realize no other entity that can mend our broken hearts and souls but only God. If we only we accept God in our hearts, he will receive us.
You Are Loved (Don’t Give Up)…
At some points in our lives, we experience unacceptable circumstances. Perhaps, these are troubles and uncertainties we need to undergo to become stronger and to become better human beings. However, if we quickly give up then we’ll probably be doomed. But those miseries, downfalls, doubts, and uncertainties can never devour us unless we have a connection with God. God can be our weapon. We only need to trust him and believe in him.
Pray With Me…
Uplift my Spirit, oh Lord. Give me peace, give me joy. Give me happiness. I need hope. You alone can turn this around, for you are magnificent and beautiful, and powerful and will never leave me or forsake me.
I am your child, and whatever I ask for, I surely will receive. Worry ends where faith begins, and I trust that You, Oh God, will lead me to victory.
Be with me every day as victory approaches at the Throne of grace and mercy. Suffering, discouragement, doubt, and despair will surely leave my mind today, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
