LISTEN: Johnny Cash’s Voice Resurrected in a Young Man

The great country music legend Johnny Cash already left us but his talented vocals are still with us. And no one can ever contest that as his voice is only his. His deep baritone voice delivered hit songs including his famed “Ring of Fire” and “I Walk the Line.”

However, there is this one young man whose voice sounds so much like that of “The Man in Black.” If you hear him sing, you’ll be totally reminded of Johnny Cash.

This one young talented man is Vince Mira. His voice has drawn comparisons to Johnny and left everyone in awe. Interestingly, it has also caught the attention of Johnny’s son, John Carter Cash. As a matter of fact, John Carter revealed that he was blown away by Vince’s voice. As a result, he helped produce Vince’s first record for his father.

Truly, Johnny’s voice resurrected in the body of Vince. In fact, he exudes a natural charisma of country and rock & roll music. Also, he has kept with him a catalog consisting of Johnny’s songs.

The Rise of Vince Mira to Fame

With the likeness and similarity of Vince’s voice with that of Cash, he caught the attention of well-known talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. In fact, in 2007, the talk show host invited Vince on the show. He was just 15 years old then.

In a one-on-one interview with Ellen, Vince shared that he had always been singing but he actually started out singing Spanish music. At first, he tried to sing Cash’s songs but he didn’t have the deep voice to pull them off. However, things suddenly changed. One day, when Vince woke up, he suddenly had a new baritone voice. Much to his surprise, he can perfectly channel his inner Johnny Cash with his new voice.

If you still do not believe us, watch Vince as he sings Johnny Cash’s hits below:
