Beautifully Broken is among the most-awaited films to hit the theaters this coming 24th of August. It features stories of three families with their share of brokenness and how they’ve allowed it to shape them into better people. On top of an already remarkable story-line and top-notch actors are cameo appearances of known Christian music artists Toby McKeehan and Michael W. Smith.
Such a compelling film requires a fitting soundtrack so here appears a song bearing the same title. The Beautifully Broken track had several versions though. The original was recorded and released in May by Alt-Rock and Contemporary Christian singer, Plumb. This was followed by Gospel artist CeCe Winans on April 23. Both lady-singers were the cream of the crop in their respective genres.
Country hit-maker John Berry also got a pitch to record his version the following month. Berry felt ecstatic with the invitation as he also loved the film after watching it premiered on the 1st of March. So without missing a beat, he gladly partook in the project.

A rendition that’s artistic yet compelling ain’t it? That’s my kind of singer: not stealing the essence of the song just to look hip.
Not only the film but even the song got positive reviews. Both carry a powerful message that would surely leave imprints on people’s hearts. Those who’ve already heard the song eagerly looked for the track’s lyrics. And since you’re already here, we’ve done the digging for you. Here’s a lyric video for Beautifully Broken also by John Berry.
And in case you haven’t seen the movie’s trailer yet, here it is.
