Hunter Hayes is one of the biggest music icons. He sold over one million singles in the world. It is no doubt that he is a complete package when it comes to the world music. His talent has earned him some Grammy nominations. He is considered to be one of the most successful country music singers in the world.

When he was just 19 years old, Hayes became one of the hottest new stars in country music, having signed with a major label and attracted plenty of press attention and airplay, but despite his youth, this wasn’t really something new for Hayes — he has been playing for paying audiences at the age of five and cut his first album when he was only nine.

Hunter Hayes was on his way to superstardom in 2011 when his self-titled debut album went double platinum, and in 2012 at age 21, he became the youngest solo male act to top the Hot Country Songs chart with his four-times platinum hit “Wanted.”

Then in 2015, he released his Grammy-nominated studio album, the chart-topping “Storyline,” and debuted its gold hit “Invisible” on the Grammy Awards. He has received five Grammy nominations, including for Best New Artist.

Invisible

This song brought out his best singing abilities that everyone fell in love with. He focused so much on singing words of encouragement to the broken and also focused more on his vocals. This tackles issues of bullying and the effects that it has on people.

A power ballad about hope and acceptance, Invisible has a chorus that begins,

Trust the one who’s been where you are, wishing all it was sticks and stones

Those words cut deep but they don’t mean you’re all alone

As a self-described music geek, Hayes says he never felt like he fit in socially while he was growing up, except when it came to music. This song serves as his words of encouragement for himself as well.

On the other hand, Hayes was first a dedicated songwriter. He wrote songs for such names as the Rascal Flatts. When it was his turn to take the stage, Hayes opened for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now World Tour, the Rascal Flatts Thaw Out Tour, The Flaming Lips during their Hattiesburg concert in 2012 and Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away Tour. The Louisiana native headlined on tour from October to December in 2011 for his Most Wanted Tour.
