There are times in our life that we will lose track of our main goal. Thus, some of us will have a ruined life, and everything will be messed up. Anyway, don’t you know that this can be fixed if we will just trust Him, just like the cover of Home Free? It is not too late for us to fix everything, we can still fix things as long as we believe.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

“All Boy Group”

Home Free” is an all-male a cappella group composed of five members. Indeed, they are one of the new acts in the music industry. Since they are new to the industry, they toured around 200 shows across the United States. Of course, if a rising artist wants to earn a spot, they need to be known by the public and build a good impression. Further, Home Free also won in the reality series “The Sing-off,” getting the prize money of $100,000 and a recording contract with Sony.

In 2014, the group released their first album titled “Crazy Life.” Truly, this new a cappella group was a massive hit, since their victory, they started touring overseas. Even though they are releasing covers, Home Free is still incorporating their unique style to revive songs and make it new again.

“Critics Pick”

“My Church” was released in 2016, and it was originally sung by the rising country music singer Maren Morris. Further, they immediately won Best Country Solo Performance, and it was nominated for Best Country Song, it seems that the public has a new favorite. Even more, the song is lyrically genius, the church in the song represents a sanctuary a person feels whenever they turn the radio on. Also, Morris mentioned two icons in the song which is Johnny Cash and Hank Williams.

Since its positive feedback to the public, Home Free decided to revive this country gospel song with their style. Admittedly, the song was loved by critics. It was tagged as one of the best songs of 2016 by Rolling Stone. Even Billboard tagged it as number 15 on their best pop songs of 2016. In my opinion, it’s nice to see this new artist rising to fame and not forgetting their Gospel roots. There will be instances in our lives that we will lose our way, but this song reminds us on what to do if that happens.
