Humans imitating animals does not seem to sound that great. That’s for sure! However, reversing the situation when an animal acts like a human is quite entertaining. Much more, amusing. Well, there are a lot of accounts around the world when animals deliver amazing human impressions. And, many of them have won our hearts. Take for instance this incredibly talented Amazon parrot whose name is Henry. His hysterical performance of Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville” will surely blow you away after you watch it.

Wandering around the top of his cage, Henry soon delivered an on-the-spot performance of the song’s well-known chorus. Singing the line,

“Wasted away again in Margaritaville.”

Henry then took a brief pause before continuing with his solo song. keeping on with his performance, he crooned the line,

“Searchin’ for my lost shaker of salt.”

Towards the end of his performance, Henry was accompanied by his owner with the singing. Perhaps he was eager to start a new one. His owner then sang in brief for Henry to jumpstart his memory. Amazingly, Henry completes his solo with a strong finish of the line,

“But I know, it’s my own damn fault.”

Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville”

This is a song that hit in the late 1970s until the early 2000s because of its upbeat and vivacious rhythm, Margaritaville is a Gulf and Western style and a country rock released in 1977. It was penned by American singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett and later recorded and popularized it. Buffett’s friend American record producer and musician Norbert Putnam produced it under ABC Records. The song was released on a Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1977. Moreover, it was included on Buffett’s seventh studio album,  “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes.”

The term “Margaritaville” is obviously referring to the cocktail margarita, a kind of cocktail consisting of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice, and often served with salt on the rim of the glass. In addition, the lyrics of the song reflects a laid-back lifestyle in a tropical climate environment. “Margaritaville” has become the defining moment in Buffett’s music and career.
