Kane Brown / Youtube

Kane Brown once again topped the chart with his romantic slow jam “Heaven.” Though the song was first released on the deluxe edition of his self-titled debut album in late 2017, the song has just been gaining some attraction. The song was crafted by Lindsay Rimes, Matthew McGinn, and Blake Anthony Charter, who also wrote songs for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Billy Currington.

In the song, Kane sings about a perfect romance with a lady, whom he was certainly convinced was sent from above.  He instantly related with the song when he first heard it at a writers retreat. During that time, he was working on one of his tracks for his album. He happened to overhear from downstairs the three songsmiths working on “Heaven.” He instantly decided to record the song because it reminded him of his fiancé, Katelyn Jae. Also, he dedicates the song to his fans, who’ve been with him since day one. They are the reason why he makes new music as often as possible.

For the record…

With “Heaven,” Brown set a record by becoming the first artist to land in the top spot on five prominent charts at the same time. Aside from earning the number one spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in 2017, it also peaked promising positions on Country Streaming Songs, Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, and Country Digital Song Sales chart. These recognitions followed the success of his collaboration with Lauren Alaina. Their song “What Ifs” have dominated the charts upon its release in 2017.

The song was covered by the acapella group Home Free which is also gaining positive feedback from the viewers.
