God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

God will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

“God Will Make A Way”: A Reflection

One of the songs that inspire me every day whenever I wake up in the morning is this Don Moen Christian worship song, “God Will Make A Way.” Personally, I consider Don Moen a genius in his own right as he has come up with a melodic song that praises the Lord. What a wonderful way to start your day with such an inspiring song.

In our day to day errands, we encounter a mixture of positivity and negativity. Yes, no day is perfect. However, we can teach ourselves to have a positive outlook. Personally, at first, I had difficulty trying my best to look at the positive, brighter side. My friends tell me to always do the same. But most of the time, it has been difficult for me to do so. Time and time again, I would end up seeing myself in a world of anxiety and uncertainty. Then, I would blame myself for not doing things that I could have done. Blaming myself for my “what ifs” have been my last resort for failed results.

One day, one of my best friends came up to me and told me that maybe the failure of me being positive is because I am missing something. I am missing something or someone greater than all the things in this world. Suddenly, I was reminded of God. I realized that every time I try to look at the brighter side, I always forget about including the Lord in my whereabouts.

This struck me hard. I have even forgotten to pray every day. Even just to express my gratitude, I have failed the Lord.

God Will Make A Way” is indeed a hymn that reminds us not to worry. In everything that we do, let us cling to God for His grace and presence. Many-a-time we think that we can do and face whatever comes to our lives. However, we must acknowledge the Lord from whom all blessings flow. He is the source of life, and without Him, we are nothing.

Listen and praise the Lord with Don Moen’s “God Will Make A Way” below:
