What is one thing you know about Jesus? Is He the Christ? Is Jesus the Son of God? Jesus is known and remembered by many things. He is known for being humble and kind. Furthermore, Jesus is also known for helping the oppressed and the poor. But, what is one thing you know about Him?

Jesus is Our Friend

Jesus did many good things for us, but one thing that we should never forget is that Jesus is a true friend. We may have a lot of friends whom we talk to every day. We can even count on them when we need help, but nothing can compare to Jesus as a friend. When you are in trouble or have done something terrible, Jesus will carry all the burdens. He will forgive you no matter what you have done. Jesus will also listen to us 24/7, and He never gets tired of it. Sometimes, when we always ask our friends for something they will get angry or be irritated, but Jesus will always be willing to listen and help us. How sweet it is to call Jesus our friend.

If you think that life is too much to handle and you have no one to call, pray and talk to Jesus. Do what the narrator does in George Jones song “Just A Little Talk With Jesus” says. Jesus would love it if we talk to Him, and share with Him our feelings. Furthermore, Jesus wants us to also become closer to Him. Therefore, do not worry anymore, rather call upon Jesus’ name and He will listen to us.

“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” – John 15:15
