After a restful vacation with her wife, Trisha Yearwood, in Florida last month, Brooks will be back on the road on October 20 at the Notre Dame University stadium in South Bend, Indiana. He is expected to meet over 85,000 fans.
Just as he is ready to be back on tour, Brooks shared that his book, “The Anthology Part III Live,” will include five CDs encompassing his career as a country music star. Written by Brooks himself together with Warren Zanes, the book contains CDs with 52 live recordings and ten augmented-reality experiences. These are only available through the Garth Live app to book purchasers.
Furthermore, “The Anthology Part III Live” highlights the country superstar’s life. Starting his from his college appearances while attending Oklahoma State University to his rise to stardom opening for acts like Reba McEntire, The Judds, and Kenny Rogers. Also, it gives a track on his most recent tour, which drew around 6.4 million people.
Moreover, the 52 recordings include the music from Triple Live, a live album from Brooks. Recorded during his three-year tour, it officially ended in December 2017. If interested, the music from that set is available for free download for a limited time through Ticketmaster.
The Anthology Books
“The Anthology Part III Live” follows the release of “Anthology Part I: The First Five Years,” which came out Nov. 14 last year. Meanwhile, Part II has not yet been released.
In an interview with Billboard last fall, Brooks revealed that the remaining parts of the Anthology would cover the half of the ’90s and his come back since his retirement in 2014. Also, he said that it would reflect
“what was going on in the world at that time and how the music affected that and how the world affected the music.”
Also, every Anthology is expected to have its two-and-a-half-hour documentary.
Moreover, Anthology Part III contains interviews with Brooks, wife Trisha Yearwood, and his band and crew, as well as 100 behind-the-scenes and performance photos.
