This is one of Hill’s biggest hit in her entire career. The song was released in 1998 and it entered the charts inside and outside of the US. She earned her fourth No. 1 single with this song. In addition, this became her second crossover song to the pop chart. It placed at No. 7 on the Hot 100. It was also Platinum-certified by RIAA. “This Kiss” is from her third chart-topping album Faith. It was also nominated for two Grammy Awards. Beth Nielsen Chapman, Robin Lerner, and Annie Roboff wrote the song.
Faith Hill’s “Breathe” broke her record when it crossed over to the pop chart at No. 2. Moreover, the song became a hit in other countries outside and inside the US.
