Audrey Faith McGraw or known as Faith Hill was born on September 21, 1967. Hill was born in Mississippi and was adopted when she was young. This is one of Hill’s biggest hit in her entire career. The song was released in 1998 and it entered the charts inside and outside of the US. She earned her fourth No. 1 single with this song. In addition, this became her second crossover song to the pop chart. It placed at No. 7 on the Hot 100. It was also Platinum-certified by RIAA. “This Kiss” is from her third chart-topping album Faith. It was also nominated for two Grammy Awards. Beth Nielsen Chapman, Robin Lerner, and Annie Roboff wrote the song.
“Breathe”
Faith Hill’s “Breathe” broke her record when it crossed over to the pop chart at No. 2. Moreover, the song became a hit in other countries outside and inside the US. “Mississippi Girl” became Faith’s last No. 1 song as a single artist on the chart. The song is about a famous person who never forgets where she came from. Despite being successful, she still stays humble and down to earth as she always is. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Songs chart. Moreover, the song crossed over the pop chart at No. 29. It became part of her sixth studio album Fireflies.
