Young Eric Church

Church was born on May 3, 1977, in Granite Fall, North Carolina. He grew up helping his father at his work. He learned to play the guitar at a young age, which also contributed to his love for music and songwriting. He started playing in bars, made some song covers, and sometimes wrote some original songs. Eventually, after graduating, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music.

Moving to Nashville

When he moved to Nashville, he worked hard to be recognized by a recording label, and he was. The first single he released that scored a spot on the chart was “How ‘Bout You.” It placed at number fourteen on the country chart. This was the first song that he co-wrote to enter the chart.

Church earned his first number one in 2011 when he released his song “Drink in My Hand,” a song from his album Chief. He followed it with his single “Springsteen,” which was also his last number one on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Here’s our list of top five songs that we love from Church.

“Love Your Love the Most”

In 2009, Church released his first single from his album Carolina. The song became his first to enter the top ten of the country chart. In addition, he earned his first platinum-certified single by RIAA.

“Hell on the Heart”

This is another song from his Carolina album. He released it following his first single “Love Your Love the Most.” “Hell on the Heart” also secured the number ten spot on the country chart.

“Springsteen”

This is known to be his most popular song and the last at number one. “Springsteen” sold three million copies, thus, receiving a 3x platinum-certification from RIAA.

“Talladega”

“Talladega” reminds us that we don’t have all the time in the world. Church wants us to know that nothing lasts forever. The beautiful message of this song made it reach number one on the Canadian country chart and number two on the US chart.

“Record Year”

Last on our list, but definitely not the least, is “Record Year.” The single placed at number one on the Canadian country chart and US country airplay chart. In addition, the song secured the number two spot on the US Country chart.

There you have it, Folks. Check out these amazing songs of Church, and let’s greet him a Happy Birthday.
