When someone remembers your special day, your birthday, it is a flattering feeling. It merely implies your importance to them. With this, let’s show our gratitude to Dave Haywood. Let’s all greet him, Happy Birthday! Also, let’s listen to his band Lady Antebellum’s breakthrough single “Need You Now.”
Lady Antebellum is one of the best country bands of this generation. They are one of the few that gives us songs worth listening to. Just like their single “Need You Now,” the song which helped them earn their stardom.
Need You Now…
Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Josh Kear wrote the words and lyrics of “Need You Now.” The song is the lead single from their album of the same name. It was released on August 11, 2009. The album also topped the Billboard chart.
Furthermore, the song became the band’s most successful single and highest chart-topper. It topped at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Song chart. Moreover, “Need You Now,” reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100. With this, the song gained the best position to top the chart by a band since Lonestar earned the record for their single “Amazed.” Also, the song won Single of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as Group Video of the Year at the 2010 CMT Music Awards.
Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood was born on July 5, 1982. He is the third member of the band. Haywood plays the guitar, piano, and mandolin. Also, he sings backing vocals for the group.
His mother taught him how to play the piano while his father taught him to play the guitar. While growing up, he and his parents sing and practice together. During his senior year, he was the president of “Love Unlimited” wherein they get to perform in Trinity-on-the-Hill United Methodist Church’s youth choir.
Dave Haywood is the person behind the band “Lady Antebellum.” He formed the group along with Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott in 2006.
