Puppet Master, Darci Lynne Yodels to “Cowboy’s Sweetheart”

Ventriloquist is not just the appropriate title for Darci Lynne Farmer and everybody knows it. Darci Lynne Farmer is a singing ventriloquist and an incredibly talented one. Her ability to spit some melody and clear lyrics while she is all smiles is not to be taken for granted. While Farmer is not the only ventriloquist to bag the coveted AGT win, Farmer proved to stand out as puppets sort of come to real life in a very adorable way.

Darci Lynne Farmer, Little Big Shots

Darci Lynne Farmer graced different shows before her AGT win. Her videos have been circulating online for quite some time now and when she had her stint at Little Big Shots she went full cowgirl with her puppet named Katie. Who thought that this girl could actually yodel and yodel quite well?

Prior to her performance in Little Big Shots, Farmer would usually perform a short skit together with the puppet to put a comedic approach and surprise element with what she can additionally do with ventriloquism:

“Well the puppet would like to entertain this nice audience, chatterbox,” said Katie after Darci Lynn took a quick phone call prior to her performance. “Where in the world are we?!”

“We’re here in jolly old England,” responded Darci Lynn, before asking, “Are you ready to show England how we do things in America?”

The unlikely duo then burst into a Cowboy’s Sweetheart showing England how she does it with Katie. Her serious yodeling skills definitely redefined Farmer’s skills.

I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart Lyrics

I wanna be a cowboy’s sweetheart
I wanna learn to rope and ride
I wanna ride through the plains and the desert
Out west of the Great Divide
I wanna hear the coyotes singing
As the sun sets in the west
I wanna be a cowboy’s sweetheart
That’s the life I love the best

I wanna ride Old Paint
Moving at a run
I wanna feel the wind in my face
A thousand miles away from all
Movin’ at a cowhand’s pace
I want to pillow my head
Beneath the open sky
As the sun sets in the west
I wanna strum my guitar and yodel-le-hee-hee
That’s the life I love the best
