Danielle Bradbery closes her "Yours Truly: 2018" by sharing a haunting version of the Post Malone hit "Psycho." The country singer took a very subdued spin to the more upbeat version originally done by Malone and Ty Dolla $ign's original song.

The cover features a pianist, a guitarist, and a cellist. Bradbery's tender voice takes center stage and transforms the hip hop bop into an almost poignant version of itself.

She shared some of her reasoning behind her project in her social media account:

"I’ve always listened to & been inspired by music from all genres. @postmalone’s “Psycho” was the first song I thought of when we started talking about Yours Truly: 2018. Proud to be sharing music with you that challenged me out of my comfort zone. Out now"

Come take a listen to her version!

In her "Yours Truly: 2018," she have done a powerful version of superstar Ariana Grande's "God is a Woman," as well as an ethereal rendition of Kacey Musgraves "Slow Burn."

In an interview, Bradbery expresses her reasons behind making "Yours Truly: 2018":

“I grew up listening to all kinds of music, from country to R&B and hip-hop, even Hispanic music with my mom’s side of the family, and all of those influences have impacted my own art. Incredible music was released across all genres this year, so I wanted to mark this moment in time with my own versions of some of my favorites."

Michael Ray's Version

However, Bradbery isn't the only country artist who covered the Malone hit. Micheal Ray released his own version back in fall 2018 for the Spotify Sessions series. In an interview with Billboard, he explains a little why he covered the hit song.

2018 was definitely a highlight of Bradbery's career. She released a single featuring fellow country artist star Thomas Rhett with "Goodby Summer" in August. It could be said that it's the duet version of her 2017 solo song "Hello Summer."

2019 looks like it's gonna be another bright one for her because she will hit the road with country sensation Kane Brown for his 2019 "Live Forever Tour."

Surely, there is a lot more to expect from the vocal powerhouse. "Psycho" was the perfect ending to her personal project. It sets the tone of where her talents currently are, and what we can expect from her. And truly, 2019 is gonna be a great year for Bradbery.
