Some Examples of Covers of “Jolene”

For fans of Glee, a hit musical TV show from 2009 to 2015, the song was featured in an episode that spoke about relationships and third parties. It was a perfect song choice and perfectly fit the feel and tone of the scene.

This song helped a lot more country fans take notice of Miley Cyrus during her early years when she covered the song back in 2012. This specific cover was recorded as part of Miley’s Backyard Sessions.

Perhaps the most surprising artist to cover this is the band White Stripes who did such a good job adapting the song into their genre that some fans actually thought they wrote the song.

These are just some examples of covers. There are many who made their own versions of this song which only goes to show just how awesome this song is.

One such talent is Tatjana Evodia who recently uploaded her cover of the classic song. She stated in her Reddit post that she recorded the song after another woman texted and tried to hit on her boyfriend. Maybe that helped her sing the song even better.
