You probably still have your post-July 4th hiccups and we can help you with that because we do not want to be tired of patronizing this country as much as you are and that includes listening to country artists singing Star Spangled Banner.
The Star-Spangled Banner or the anthem of the American people has been sung by the several country house names and we could not agree more that each one of them have their different interpretation. So we ask you again, who’s your favorite country artist to sing what our nationality is all about:
Note that the list below is no particular order because we cannot decide among ourselves:
[advert id=”193667″]Reba McEntire
Reba McEntire sings our national anthem at the Nashville’s First Tennessee Park while rocking a sporty look. It’s a refreshing take from Reba McEntire because we always see her glammed up while serenading us with her country hits.
Make no mistake, Reba slayed The Star Spangled Banner:
Martina McBride
This was Martina McBride singing on the biggest sporting event in the city of Nashville before the Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Carrie Underwood
According to a lot of fans, this would be one of the most heartfelt versions of the national anthem. We think that this performance also meant a lot of things with Carrie Underwood as Carrie did not only sing her heart out but also this was her first performance in the Superbowl after winning the highly coveted, American Idol Crown.
Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum
Hosted by Robert de Niro this “Never Forget” performance attacks the appropriate emotion as the Star Spangled Banner is accompanied by marching bands and the different style of Lady Antebellum. Although a trio band composed of two men, Hillary Scott’s vocal is the core of this performance which is both powerful and emotional.
LeAnn Rimes
Grammy award winner LeAnn Rimes’ approach on this performance is classic in every note she hits while still putting her own spin unto it. This could be one of the reasons why we miss this songstress in the country arena.
Dixie Chicks
Defining harmony has been done by Dixie Chicks over and over again. Their sync game is so impeccable that they don’t have to overdo anything but blend.
Faith Hill
Many would say that Faith Hill set the standard how Star Spangled Banner should be sung by any artist and this performance definitely deserved many standing ovation.
Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton is not a legend for nothing. Enough said.
