Back-to-school days are just around the corner and it’s so exciting especially for our little cowboys and cowgirls. To celebrate this, we are bringing you some of your favorite country artists’ look when they were still young and well, when they were still in school.

Check out these pictures and find out how different they are then and now.

Dolly Parton

We all know how successful Dolly Parton is, not only as a singer but also as an actress and philanthropist. Back in her high school days, she used to play drums for her marching band. This definitely gives hope to all band nerds out there!

Reba McEntire

This picture was taken in her fifth grade, she was wearing a yellow dress with a gold monogrammed pin. Adorable, isn’t she? She performed a lot back in Oklahoma grade school,  her debut was singing “Away in a Manger” in a school play during the first grade.

Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson will soon be 59 later this year but he still wears the same charming smile that he always had when he was just a boy. He continues “chasin’ that neon rainbow” on his Honky Tonk Highway Tour throughout the fall.

Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker used to be in the little league with jersey number 29. “If I Told You” Rucker would one day have his name up in lights for music rather than football, he would have never believed it!

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert still looks as fresh and young as she used to even if it was back in the 80’s. Trading her bangs and braces with that better smile and wavier locks definitely looks good on her.

Carrie Underwood

There is not much change with Carrie Underwood from her middle school days. After graduating from Oklahoma, she auditioned for American Idol and it’s probably the best decision she has ever made in her life. Also, did you know that her trip to Hollywood Week was the first time she’d ever been on an airplane!

So, there you go folks! I hope we can get more stars to show us their class pictures next time around. Share this with other country fans and don’t forget to leave your comments.
