GOOD MORNIN’, Y’ALL!
THE FIRST SIP…
“…that burnin’ yearnin’ desire to Come Home…”
Have you ever been displaced or had to move to different place due to some situation or certain circumstance?
Or have you ever had—in your Life Journey—felt lost or (even) felt like you were “losing it”?
Well, I have—more than many-a-time, in fact.
And I would imagine that a lot of you folks have too.
And being lost, inasmuch as we have that burnin’ yearnin’ desire to Come Home— we could not.
No matter how much we try—we just, cannot.
At times, it could get really depressing. But we just have to… Ought to. To keep on keepin’ on.
I don’t know…
You know what I used to do to cope? I utilized them fond, fond memories of My Hometown just to survive the urban jungle. Ah yes, it is a jungle out there. Even worse than our backwoods out in the country. Uhuh, they could get to be such animals out in The City. Those of us who have been there and done that know what I mean right?
THE LAST DROP…
“Got- an’ ought to keep on keepin’ on and keepin’ in the faith!”
It shore was an experience for me. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly all tied up together! But as has been said many, many, many times before, “What does not kill you makes you stronger.”
Yes, it shorely made me much stronger. Not just as a person, but—more importantly—in my Faith in Our Lord God Almighty!
Many-a-time—most especially when we have that great desire to better ourselves and to be better Christians—we get tested. We get submitted to extreme Life Conditions and Life Situations. But we just got to… We just ought to… Got- an’ ought to keep on keepin’ on in keepin’ in the Faith!
For y’all, most especially those who kept on keepin’ on in keepin’ in the Faith, I give you Take Me Home, Country Roads by the late great, John Denver…
You have just been “..Drinkin’ From A Dixie…”
May y’all be Safe and Well and…
