Country Nominees for the 2017 American Music Awards

The annual and prestigious awarding event for America’s brightest artists and best songs for this year is about to take place, and the nominees for the Country genre have recently been revealed.

This year’s American Music Awards will be broadcasted live on November 19, 8 PM ET, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. It will be aired on ABC channel. In addition, the said annual event will be having an exclusive live stream on Twitter for the red carpet pre-show.

Fans of country music have been eager to discover if their favorite artists have made it to the list of nominees. Among the favorite singers who made it include Keith Urban and Garth Brooks. Keith Urban leads his fellow artists as the one who garnered the most number of nominations, while Garth Brooks was the only country artist to receive a nomination for an all-genre Tour of the Year category.

The nominations garnered for the show were based on key fan interactions that were reflected on billboard.com and on Billboard Magazine. Billboard, along with its partners for accumulating data like Next Big Sound and Nielsen Music, tracks these particular measurements.
