Country music is host to a number of fun-filled and musical events created for the opportunity of artists mingling and celebrating their melodic passion with their fans. One of these annual events that fans and critics always look forward to is the Country Music Cruise.
On February 18, 2018, the Country Music Cruise will be having its 5th anniversary.
But what is this event like, exactly?
The themed sailing event features a broad line-up of musicians that serve as the show’s hosts. Fans who attend the event will be treated to a relaxing vacation filled with stunning concerts, beers and drinks, and a lot more festivities as they bask in the glistening warmth of the sun and breathe in the cool, sea breeze. Each night, fans can also expect fun-filled activities like dress-up nights, Southern cooking demos, Red, White, and Blue Barbecue, and intimate jam sessions with their favorite artists.
Among the artists set to make the upcoming 5th Country Music Cruise another memorable and delightful event include Alabama, the Jeannie Seely, Lorrie Morgan, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers. Meanwhile, The Oak Ridge Boys have been regulars in the said event—having performed for the past three sailings.
Each of the guest stars will be hosting a number of themed activities, some of which include leading vow renewal ceremonies for couples celebrating the anniversary of their happy, married lives. Each artist participating in the show will surely wow the crowd with the level of effort they pour into their shows.
Joe Bonsall of The Oak Ridge Boys adds that guests can still enjoy a normal cruise apart from the scheduled and themed activities. “You’ve got a first-class cruise ship. You’ve got a week in the Caribbean. You’ve got great food, great ports of call, great stuff to do—and you would have all of that, without the music.”
