House on Old Lonesome Road was Twitty’s fifty-fifth studio album. He released the album in 1989, and it has ten singles. The album reached No. 39 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It also charted three singles, “She’s Got a Single Thing in Mind,” “House on Old Lonesome Road,” and “Who’s Gonna Know.” His single “House on Old Lonesome Road” reached No. 19 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In addition, the song entered the Canadian chart at No. 28. “Who’s Gonna Know” placed at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart in 1989.

He did not find out from anyone but from her. She did not say anything, but he noticed on the way she looks at him and the way she makes him feel. He knew that she is going to leave him, he is just waiting for her to tell him.
