Speaking of true and infinite love, “I’m Already Taken,” says it all. The well-crafted melody and witty lyrics describe a story of two people destined for each other. They met at a young age, since then, they have love towards each other. Parting ways didn’t discourage them to stop what they feel inside. They ended up loving, caring and embracing each other’s arms for the rest of their lives. On the other hand, Conway Twitty will remind us that we have soulmates. Listen to the song as it flashes back memories of yesterday.

I’m Already Taken…

This timeless ballad was released in April 1978. Steve Wariner recorded the song as part of his album “Down in Tennessee.” In 1999, Steve Wariner re-recorded the song. He released the single as part of his album “Two Teardrops.” That year, the song placed at number three on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Also, it reached number forty-two on the Billboard Hot 100.

Moreover, Steve Wariner co-wrote the words and lyrics of “I’m Already Taken.” Back then, he was just twenty-three years old.

In 1981, Conway Twitty recorded his cover version. It was part of his album “Mr. T.”
