It is beautiful to share your memories with the people you love, especially when you share them with your kids or grandchildren. It’s amazing how the look on their faces will be, because of all the adventures you tell them. This might spark something in them, or maybe not. But, the best part is that you are able to show them your life and inspire them. Just like in Jamey Johnson’s nostalgic song “In Color.”

CMA’s Forever Country Cover Series

CMA celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2016. Part of their celebration was to honor songs in the past that won their awards. They have invited country singers to perform the winning songs. Some of these artists invited were Josh Turner, Jon Pardi, Eric Paslay, Steve Wariner, George Canyon, Kane Brown, and many more. CMA called this as the Forever Country Covers. It celebrates country music then, now, and forever.

Scotty McCreery Covers “In Color”

Scotty McCreery was one of the artists invited to perform. McCreery with his deep voice did a great job covering Jamey Johnson’s “In Color.” McCreery performed a stripped down version of the song. Thus, making you feel the words of the song more. Great job Scotty! He really did sound amazing.
