Some country artists, however, have a hard time proving their selves. Somewhat, they need to undergo so much work to be able to penetrate the country music scene. Some took years and years to sell platinum albums and top the charts. Nevertheless, it’s a game of luck after all.
What’s it To You…
Robert Ellis Orrall and Curtis Wright wrote the words and lyrics of “What’s It To You.” It was first pitched to Clay Walker to be his debut single. He then recorded and released the song in July 1993 from his debut album “Clay Walker.” Astonishingly, the song was so successful and became number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Also, it was his very first number one single.
After his debut, Clay Walker continued recording and releasing songs and albums. He has released a total of eleven albums. This includes the greatest album of Christmas music. Moreover, Clay Walker’s four studio albums received platinum certification in the United States. Meanwhile, his greatest hits collection and fifth studio album were both certified gold.
Above all, Clay Walker has charted thirty country singles. He also has six number one songs such as “What’s It to You,” “Live Until I Die,” “Dreaming with My Eyes Open,” “If I Could Make a Living,” “This Woman and This Man,” and “Rumor Has It.” His most recent album entitled “She Won’t Be Lonely Long” was released in mid of 2010.
