“Marriage is a lot of hard work”, as people say. But, there is nothing far better than being in a great marriage. At a time when divorce is so common and accepted, working through and coming out better is a huge accomplishment. Giving up and moving on was just too easy. Marriage is a big word. Deciding to tie the knot should be thought of a million times and should not be taken lightly. Just as huge that decision is, getting a divorce is even more so. As a matter of fact, it is enormous.
Trying to make a marriage work is important—you give plenty of effort to it. All efforts should be made to restore the relationship you had. One must come to the realization as to why you wanted to be with this person ‘til death do you part. “Chiseled in Stone” perfectly depicts this situation. It is all about working through marriage and doing everything to stay intact even when problems arise. Indeed, this song helps save marriages.

“My husband and I were having some marital issues and I got pretty bad where we argued a lot. I will never forget it. We got to the point where we talked about separation while driving down the road. So to avoid an argument, I turned on the radio. This song came on and it got quiet. I don’t remember hearing the truck run. Soon after this song went off, he pulled over. We both had tears in our eyes, realized we really didn’t want to be without each other & fell back in love. Been together ever since”.
