With a height of 6’4” and with his success, country star Brett Eldredge will definitely stand out. It really is hard for a star to be incognito and other artists might be bothered by the constant attention, Brett Eldredge admits that encounter with fans makes him uncomfortable. However, it’s not what you think.
“I’m a little shy at times,” Eldredge said in an interview. “A lot of people don’t think of me that way, but sometimes I’m shy, in a way where I feel like I’m the same kid that was running around Nashville dying for somebody to hear my music for the first time. So I’m never annoyed as much as sometimes I don’t get used to the fact that somebody sees you out, and they’re so excited they’re shaking to meet you. I’m the same old Brett just doing the same thing, playing music like I always loved to do.”
Fans Are the Best
We can also see that Eldredge might be uneasy sometimes, but he still makes sure that every encounter with a fan is memorable.
“Some people say that was the best moment of their life is to meet you, and for me it took me a long time to really figure that out,” Eldredge explains. “I was like, if I’ve got two minutes, I want to give every two minutes of myself that I can, because I want to make somebody’s day, I want to make their week, I want to make their year. Whatever helps somebody through that. And then in return, it helps me. I think that once I get over the fact of being shy and realizing that my music really does move people, that inspires me to continue to do what I do as well. So I’ll take a picture, I’ll say hi, I’ll sign something for you, and maybe you’ll go out in your day with a smile on your face, and I’ll have a smile on my face.”
Brett Eldredge has a lot of chances to change and get used to the fans while he continues to serve as the opening act on Luke Bryan’s ‘Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day Tour this fall.
Some of the country artists out there are clearly not yet used to fans. However, there’s no reason not love this amazing man, he’s just shy. Don’t you think so? Let us know in the comments section below. Also, I’m on Twitter. follow me at GrantKing_CTD. God Bless Your Heart!
