“Country Boys Can Survive”: Hank Williams Jr. is Tough as He is

WE ALL HAVE BEEN through Rough Times… And we all have been through Tough Times. Yep, through them Rough and Tough we all have been. And we (still) relentlessly survived through it all.

WHO CAN FORGET 9/11? Dang, even the whole world could never forget that very significant fact in our history! It had drastically changed the course of this very nation and other nations but we continued to survive! The Stock Market Crash of 2008 to 2009 who would ever forget that? Methinks, our survivor/survivalist attitude could all (somehow) be attributed to our “country-ness” aside from our bein’-true-blue-hardcore-Star-Spangled-lovin’-Americans!

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity…”

ONE ADMIRABLE TRIBUTE SONG to our patriotism and having that tough-as-nails-rough-as-grit-mentality is in-all-honesty-and-no-nonsensically-laid-down by none other than THE Hank Williams Jr in Country Boys Can Survive.

I can catch catfish from dusk ’til dawn
We make our own whiskey and our own smoke, too

YESIREE, you just cannot get a Country Boy or Country Folk to go a-hungry! No matter what. The Stock Market may rise or fall or Our Dear Mississippi may go dry but us Country Folk will survive…
