We human beings are naïve and fragile and with that, we experience “heartache”. Most have moved on and some have found somebody. But there are still people who are dealing with the pain and somewhat they can no longer be healed. They are somewhat stuck in the past. For you to know what I’m talking about, lend your ears and listen to Anne Murray’s “Broken Hearted Me”. This song will edify you regarding a heart that can’t be mended and the inability of time to heal a broken heart and soul.

Moreover, a lot of the artists are really talented, but a few can touch and move our souls. One of them is Anne Murray, her smooth and soft toned voice can shiver down our spine. She’s a woman that doesn’t need much of talking, just plain singing and boom, we are lost in heaven.

The Lyrics That Say It All…

Every now and then I cry
Ev’ry night you keep stayin’ on my mind
All my friends say I’ll survive
It just takes time

But I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
No I don’t see how it can if it’s broken all apart
A million miracles could never stop the pain
Or put all the pieces together again
No I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
I don’t see how it can while we are still apart
And when you hear this song
I hope that you will see
That time won’t heal a broken-hearted me

Every day is just the same
Playin’ games, different lovers, different names
They keep sayin’ I’ll survive
It just takes time

But I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
No I don’t see how it can if it’s broken all apart
A million miracles could never stop the pain
Or put all the pieces together again
No I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
I don’t see how it can while we are still apart
And when you hear this song
I hope that you will see
That time won’t heal a broken-hearted me

Time won’t heal a broken-hearted me
