Being a superstar, it’s really hard to go out without being noticed. With this in mind, Adam Levine, together with Jimmy Fallon and his bandmate James Valentine, decided to go undercover, disguising themselves with wigs, hats, and fake beards to makes themselves unrecognizable.
In the New York subway, these men gave a street performance which both delighted and surprised the commuters. They took the subway as their stage and sang the song “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” This hit was written by Freddie Mercury in honor of Elvis Presley.
As they started singing, people instantly took noticed. A growing crowd gathered around them and at the end of the song, they revealed their true identities causing the crowd to freak out. Since everyone knew who they are, they decided to continue entertaining the commuters who took time to stop and watch. They performed Maroon 5’s song “Sugar” while the crowd sang and danced along with them.

Besides being a superstar in the music industry, Adam Levine also devotes his time for the advancement of different causes like raising an awareness for Attention Deficit or Hyperactivity Disorder, testicular cancer and gay rights. He was also labeled as the ‘Sexiest Man Alive” by the magazine People in 2013.
Already successful in his career, Adam Levine also succeeded in raising his own happy family. In May 2012, he started dating Victoria’s Secret model, Behati Prinsloo and appeared in some shows together. Levine proposed to her in 2013 and the couple got married on July 19, 2014 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
After almost two years, Behati gave birth to their first child whom they named, Dusty Rose Levine on September 21, 2016. After a year, in September 2017, the couple announced that were they expecting another baby. Their second child was born on February 15, 2018 and they named her, Geo Grace Levine.
A Preview of His Beginnings
Adam Noah Levine was born on March 18, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. His father is Fred Levine, the founder of the retail M. Frederic and his mother is Patsy Levine, an admissions counselor.
His mother raised Levine in a musical environment and she urged him to start a career in singing. He grew up giving all his love to his mother since his parents were divorced when he was seven. With his potentials, he became a singer, a songwriter, an actor, a multi-instrumentalist and a record producer.
In the year 1994, while attending the private Brentwood School, he formed a rock band which he named “Kara’s Flower.” His band mates were his friends and fellow students, Ryan Dusick, Jesse Carmichael, and Micky Madden. Their first album was called “The Fourth World” with their first single titled “Soap Disco” released in 1997. They also appeared in an episode of “Beverly Hills 90210.”
Adam Levine and “Maroon 5”
After they were disbanded, Adam Levine, together with Jesse Carmichael, decided to leave Los Angeles and go to Long Island, New York. There, they studied in a music and performing art school, The Five Towns College.
Living in New York had a big impact for Adam Levine on his musical point- of- view. In 2002, Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael decided to go back to Los Angeles. The former members of “Kara’s Flower” reunited and recruited a new member, James Valentine who became their new guitarist as Jesse Carmichael moves in playing the keyboards. They renamed their band from “Kara’s Flower” into “Maroon 5.”
In 2002, Maroon 5 released their debut album titled “Songs About Jane” which received a multi-platinum in the United States followed by their other successful albums, “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long” in 2007, “Hands All Over” in 2010, “Overexposed” in 2012 and “V” in 2014.
Along the way, Adam Levine appeared in other musicians’ albums where he worked with fellow superstars Kanye West, Alicia Keys and Natasha Bedingfield. He also made an appearance on Saturday Night Live, on A Night of Too Many Stars of Comedy Central and had a cameo in Jimmy Kimmel Live. He then become a full time TV gig on the reality series The Voice where he is a judge and a coach. He also got a minor role in the series American Horror Story.
