From the time they won the reality competition, The Sing-Off, in 2013 up to the present, Home Free continues to impress their fans with their impeccable covers of countless songs. Among them are Thomas Rhett’s romantic hit, “Die A Happy Man,” Maren Morris’ breakout single, “My Church,” and one of Zac Brown Band’s chart-toppers, “Colder Weather.” Their videos on YouTube have generated millions of views since then. And, fans can’t help but look forward to their succeeding song covers. Also, their expertise in turning a remake into their own song is undeniably extraordinary.
In 2016 though, one of the a cappella singing group’s founding members Chris Rupp left Home Free to pursue a solo career among other plans. Accordingly, he formed a new band called 7th Ave which comprises his sister, Tristin, and friends Kelley Jackle and Adam Bastien. While they are still a young vocal group, 7th Ave has had some exciting music videos. One of which was an elegant cover of Elvis Presley’s classic love song, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
The Gorgeous Cover
The setting of the music video is just simple. The quartet is seen inside an empty warehouse seated in a straight line. Because of this, the audience’s attention is directed to the four singers. The moment they hit the very first note, there’s no denying the strong pull they have at the listeners. Furthermore, every harmony just has the power to send shivers down your spine. The performance is simply breathtaking. Such was indeed an indication of the group’s huge potential success in the future.
